Waste after party

This is not a picture from the Middle Ages. Back then people were used to dumping garbage on the street. This is the image of Rotterdam West after Christmas. No nice picture. Apparently these city dwellers feel it necessary to dump their junk on the streets. Hopefully the garbage collector will come by quickly to make the street more pleasant again. Dit is geen beeld uit de middeleeuwen. Toen waren mensen nog gewend om vuilnis zo op straat te dumpen. Dit is het beeld van Rotterdam West na de kerstdagen. Geen fraai beeld. Blijkbaar vinden deze stadsbewoners het nodig om hun rotzooi op straat te dumpen. Hopelijk komt de vuilnisman snel langs om het straatbeeld weer wat aangenamer te maken.
